Assessment of Coal Mine Safe Production Level in China Based on Projection Pursuit Method

    • To objectively evaluate the safety level of coal mine, this paper selects seven indexes and constructs a projection pursuit evaluation model of coal mine safe production. The data on coal industry from 2009 to 2015 is used to validate the model. The results show that the overall level of coal mine safety production in China shows an increasing trend from 2009 to 2015. The optimal projection direction of sample data from 2009 to 2015 reflects the importance of each indicator to the evaluation of safe production level. The order is: the number of the first level safe coal mines>million tons of mortality>million mortality>the number of deaths>the accidents>million tons of safety input>annual capacity utilization rate. The number of the first level safe coal mines has the greatest influence on the safety production level of coal mine in China.
