Influence of Ventilation Duct Attachment Distance on Wind Field in Coal Mine Excavation Roadway

  • Taking Ningtiaota Mine s1200- III heading face as research object, we established the finite element model by fluid dynamics software FLUENT and simulated and measured different duct attachment distance by site verification. The simulation results show that there is limited attached turbulent influence on the initial section of the jet, while the influence degree of the main section is high, and speed variation influence is bigger, and adjusting the attachment distance can adjust the wind speed; it also has a certain effect on vortex in the tunnel at the same time, with the increase of duct-wall distance, the roadway within the vortex area is gradually reduced; when the duct-wall distance increases to a certain value, with the increase of duct-wall distance, the vortex area gradually increases in the tunnel on the contrary.
