  • With the increasing of intensity and depth of underground mining, the stress concentration are posing increasing influence for coal and gas outburst in the heading face, which seriously threatens the safety production, but there are some shortages in continuous early-warning for this type of gas outburst risk. According to the mining deployment of our country, the stress effect mode of heading face is analyzed, it is divided into three types, such as the coal pillar impact of adjacent layers, the mining impact of current coal seam and the cross-cut uncovering coal, and then the warning method and system of gas outburst is established which includes the data collecting methods, early-warning indicators and rules, grades of warning results. The field application shows that this method and system can opportunely, reliably and continuously forecast gas outburst in the heading face caused by stress superposition.
