Broken and Soft Rock Roadway Supporting and Its Evaluation Based on Coupling Supporting Theory

    • Aiming at the problems of roof separation sinking, large convergence and supporting difficulties of two walls in centralized transport roadway of Hongxing Coal Mine 2# soft broken seam, the study analyzes the deformation reasons of roadway based on site investigation and coupling support mechanics, and obtains that complex geological mechanics environment of roadway(structural development, large tectonic stress), and the roadway characteristics (low intensity, loose, broken) are important factors to affect the stability of the roadway, and the root cause is uncoupled of the strength and stiffness of supporting body and surrounding rock. The broken soft rock roadway under coupling support principles are obtained, and the rational roadway support methods and support parameters are designed, numerical simulation is evaluated; the results of field industrial experiment show that maximally convergence of two walls is 250 mm, and roof and floor is 650 mm.
