    Numerical Simulation and Orthogonal Test About Gateway Supporting and Coal Pillar Size

    • Aiming to the problems that the best combination between the support method of the gateway and the reasonable size of sectional coal pillar of shallow thick coal seam in the Western, according to 222205 face of Yangjiacun Coal Mine, getting nine different combination of gateway support and unexploited coal pillars size through orthogonal test, the stress concentration factor of roadway, displacement of roof and floor and displacement of two sides of nine different supporting schemes are obtained by numerical simulation; we ultimately determined the support method of 6th, namely, row spacing between roof bolts of 1 100 mm× 1 000 mm, row spacing between side bolts of 1 100 mm×1 400 mm; the anchor cable cross supporting and reasonable coal pillar size is 15 m.
