Current Situation and Development Trend for Coalfield Fire Exploration and Governance Technology

  • In order to provide decision-making reference for the coalfield fire exploration and governance, and to promote the efficient and rapid development of coalfield fire prevention and control, the characteristics and applicability of drilling exploration method, geophysical exploration method, geochemical exploration method and remote sensing exploration method for coalfield fire exploration and direct stripped technology, air leakage control technology, fire area inerting technology, endothermic cooling and coal inhibition technology for coalfield fire governance were discussed separately through investigative progress and current situation of coalfield fire exploration and governance. The exploration precision is low at present so that accurate location of fire source cannot be realized. Governance technology cannot achieve rapid and efficient treatment of large area coalfield fire. The development trends of coalfield fire exploration and governance in the future are the multiple information exploration technology based on infrared remote sensing, magnetic method and electric method, and the rapid cooling and extinguishing technology of high temperature and large heat capacity coal rock mass.
