Application of Slow-closing Valves in Emergency Drainage Waterproof Hammer of Inclined Mine

    • In order to solve the problem that the TPU hose bursts due to the instantaneous high pressure of water hammer caused by the sudden stop of pump in the mine inclined shaft emergency drainage operation, through the comparison of operating mode using different types of pipelines to eliminate residual water of inclined mine, the technical measure of installing a slow-closing valve between the flexible pipeline inlet and the pump outlet is proposed. Based on the research of technical characteristics of multi-functional water pump control valve and slow closing valve of pipe force valve, the differential matching scheme is formed that the drainage pipelines of DN200 and DN150 should be matched with tube force valves of the corresponding specifications preferentially, while the DN100 drainage pipeline and multi-functional water pump control valve with the same diameter should be used in combination, and the test verified that the tube force valve can be applied to the conditions outside of vertical installation. Tests had shown that the flow of horizontally mounted valve was the largest, followed by the tilted state, the smallest was the vertical installation under the same opening degree, and the deviation rate of the flow corresponding to the different opening degree of the DN200 valve in the horizontal installation condition was 2.95% to 4.22%, the type of installation had little effect on the flow performance during the slow-closing process.
