  • In order to accurately predict the second and the third thick coal seam in Baijigou Coal Mine, and the gas emission is divided into six layers. The prediction of gas emission is the basis of the gas control scheme of the working face. The current method of forecasting the gas emission in the thick coal seam of our country takes into account the four stratified mining conditions, and the stratification of the existing extra-thick coal seam based on the prediction method of gas emission, the method of forecasting the gas emission in the mining face of the double-layer mining in the thick coal seam of Baijigou Coal Mine is proposed based on the actual situation of gas emission from Baijigou Coal Mine. The results show that the prediction error is 11.87%, the average prediction error is 7.61%, and the prediction accuracy is over 88%.
