  • Based on 250 to 380 μm briquette specimens of No.1 seam of Yushe Coal Mine in Guizhou as study object, we carry out triaxial compression of coal containing methane under different temperatures with independent triaxial seepage device. The research indicates that the complete stress-strain curves of coal containing gas can be roughly divided into four phases that are compaction phase, linear elastic phase, yield phase, peak value phase; the triaxial compression strength of coal containing gas shows decreasing trend when the temperature increases; the inflexibility and intensity of coal containing gas decreases with increasing temperature; during the increasing process of temperature, the velocity of radial deformation is larger than the velocity of axial deformation, resulting in the phenomenon of Poisson's ratio increasing.
