  • Thin coal seams in China are abundant,but only a smaller proportion of mines are exploited.With the decrease of the medium thick and thick coal seams reserves,thin coal seam mining has great prospects.The main mining technologies of thin coal seams in China are shearer mining method,auger mining method and plough mining method.This paper introduces the present situation and future development trend of thin coal seam mining technologies in China.
