3D Finite Element Numerical Analysis of High Gas Mine Ventilation

    • Taking 8105 working face in Tashan Coal Mine of Datong Coal Company as research object, the gas control scheme at 8105 fully mechanized caving face is analyzed and discussed, according to the actual situation of mine ventilation, the actual numerical model of mine ventilation is built, and then the Comsol Multiphysics software is used to analyze 8105 working face ventilation and gas concentration under two kinds of conditions that air flow is same ( schemeⅠ ) and different ( scheme Ⅱ) in two intake airways ( 2105 airway and 5105 airway ). Since the designed air volume in 2105 airway was larger than that in 5105 airway in scheme Ⅱ, the 5105 airway and the working face connected with it presents full-face strong turbulence conditions with the impact of pressure, which has some impact on mine safety production. In addition, because the end pressure in two grooves is not the same, it results in pressure loss and economic waste. So, the ventilation mode and designed air flow of schemeⅠis applied.
