  • The main mining 5# and 6# coal seams of Danhou Coal Mine in Yuzhou Ming Area, the average spacing of them was 24 m, belonged to close distance coal seam group mining. The coal pillar of 6205N working face return airway, coal pillar stability of 5# pre-retaining, lateral pressure distribution of gob in Danhou Coal Mine were taken as research object,the segment coal pillar stress distribution of 6# coal was mastered, and the segment coal pillar width retaining scheme of close distance 5# coal seam was proposed.
