    • Coal seam tensile strength of in Taiyuan Dongshan Coal Mine is tested by hydro-fracturing method, and the applicability of this method on coal seam tensile strength is verified. The obtained Kp value is over 10 times than data of laboratory, which provides the basis for the retainment of waterproof pillar, this parameter enables the width of waterproof pillar greatly shorten.
