Practice of Gas Control in Soft and Outburst Coal Face

For problems encountered in drilling along soft outburst coal seam in Linhuan Mine, after improving drilling equipment, drilling technology, drilling footage effect is still not ideal. According to gas deposit in working face, the engineering scheme of gas management is modified. A series of innovative measures simultaneously, including pre-drilling of penetration boreholes through roof from high-located auger field and advanced pressure relief drill holes by high-power drilling machine in working face,avoided the bottleneck of drilling along soft outburst coal seam. The danger of outburst is eliminated, the safety of working face mining is guaranteed, and the desired result is obtained.
