Discussion on Spontaneous Combustion Control Methods for Extremely Thick Coal Seam in Layered Fully Mechanized Caving Face

    • This paper analyzed spontaneous combustion risk of the thick coal seam with average thickness of 53 m in the eastern Junggar II coal mine in Xinjiang, combined with spontaneous combustion characteristics which may occur under the conditons of the roadway layout, mining technology, ventilation system capacity in layered fully mechanized caving face, it refered to the spontaneous combustion control technology for coal mining under similar conditions, and discussed the techniques and methods of adaptable spontaneous combustion control.
