    Advanced grouting reinforcement technology for fully mechanized caving face passing through fault under complex geological conditions

    • Taking the water-conducting fault DF29 at the coalface 401101 of Mengcun Coal Mine in Binchang Mining Area as an example, the water-richness of the large fault DF29 was identified by means of roadway disclosure, hydrogeological exploration and water sample analysis. In view of the characteristics of the large fault DF29, this article proposed that it was prone to sudden water, impact pressure, roof fall and other disasters during the process of passing through the fault DF29. In addition, a new method for grouting water-conducting water in fully mechanized caving face is proposed to improve the bearing capacity of coal-rock mass in fault perturbation zone, that is, to adopt the governance idea of “advanced pre-grouting of double gateways treatment and coalface local grouting treatment”. Two products were developed, one is a kind of cement-based grouting reinforcement material(SCJG-1) with strong injectability, good fluidity and good bonding, the other is a kind of mine composite grouting reinforcement material(SCPJG-2)with low reaction temperature and high strength. Engineering practice shows that adopting the grouting method and the special material, the fully mechanized caving face 401101 successfully passed through the water-conducting fault DF29, which ensures the safe mining of the coalface.
