Abstract
In order to get the wave system evolution process of gas deflagration suppression by water mist, and obtain the image of the flame structure change when the fine water mist interacts with the flame array, an ultra-high speed laser schlieren system was built on a self-designed mesoscale explosion pipeline to re-understand the mechanism of fine water mist inhibiting gas deflagation from the level of elementary reaction; by analyzing the response time of different systems in the whole experimental system, a reasonable experimental scheme is proposed, and the response time of the flame front arriving at the observation window and the fine water spray injection system are measured. The results show that the time of the flame front arriving at the observation window is 0.113 3 s, and the response time of the fine water spray system is 8.716 ms.
