Gas Emission Control at Fully Mechanized Caving Face in Steep Seam

Through analyzing the occurrence characteristics of gas in steep seam, the paper studies the gas emission characteristics at fully mechanized caving face in steep seam, which provides a basis for gas control. A comprehensive package of measures for gas control based on above characteristics is put forward. After years of practice test, rich gas control experiences are summarized, which realizes the safety production at fully mechanized caving face in steep seam.
