Abstract
Aiming at the problem of large dust concentration during the mining operation of the 81308 fully mechanized caving face, based on the principles of wet coal dust reduction and spray dust reduction, utilizing “static pressure + a group of porous” large-area water injection method, the installation of a high-pressure external spray dust-reduction system for a shearer, and a full-section telescopic dust-trapping net is designed. The purpose of increasing the water injection area, extending the water injection time, expanding the effective dust reduction radius, and improving the dust catching effect have been achieved. A set of comprehensive dust-reduction technology and technology for fully mechanized caving face was established to achieve low dust production in fully mechanized caving face. The results show that the water content of 81308 fully mechanized caving face increases by 5.74% on average; after adopting comprehensive dust control measures, the average dust removal rate of total dust and respirable dust reached 64.29% and 54.90% respectively.
