Abstract
To solve the problem of large deformation and difficult support of surrounding rock in roadway under driven heading for adjacent advancing coal face conditions, taking the transport of 9104 working face of Gaoping Qiyi Coal Mine as an example, the deformation law of surrounding rock under driven heading for adjacent advancing coal face conditions, determination of coal pillar size and its corresponding supporting parameters were studied by the method of combining with numerical simulation and industrial test. Results indicate that with the increase of coal pillar width, the deformation of surrounding rock and the distribution of stress in coal pillars show obvious differences, and based on this, it is determined that the reasonable coal pillar width of 9104 working face in Qiyi Coal Industry is 5 m; the roadway adjustment process is mainly concentrated at 20 m to 100 m ahead of the meeting of the heading face and the adjacent stoping face, the deformation of the roadway at this phase accounts for about 70.5% of the total deformation. The industrial test shows that the deformation of roadway surrounding rock can be effectively controlled by 5 m narrow coal pillar roadway protection and optimized support parameters, and the normal use of roadway in its service life is basically guaranteed.
