Abstract
Embedded depth and sectional form are key problems of coal mine safety for surrounding rock destruction in roadway. In this paper the model of excavation roadway is established to study the law of stress and displacement of surrounding rock for trapezoidal excavation roadway in different embedded depth. The results show that: as the embedded depth increasing, the stress on both sides of no bolting roadway is much larger, which causes the roadway deformation even destruction;but after bolting, the stress and displacement can obviously reduce, surrounding rock will not be destroyed. After excavation, the roadway should be supported immediately to effectively control the deformation of surrounding rock in sides, roof and floor, which make the roadway in a safe state.
