Abstract
To study the influence of layered joints on the deformation law of tunnel surrounding rock, a tunnel model with layered joints is established by using particle flow software PFC2D, and the influence of inclination angle, spacing and distribution position of layered joints on the deformation of tunnel surrounding rock is analyzed. The results show that when the inclination angle of layered joints is 45°, the deformation of surrounding rock is the smallest, the spacing of joints is less than 1.2 m and the joints are distributed on the vault, the influence on the deformation of surrounding rock is more significant. The feasibility of particle flow software PFC2D in the study of tunnel joints is verified, and the influence rule of the joint characteristics is obtained.
