    Application Situation and Development Trend of Underground Vehicular Fire-extinguishing System

    • The application of the underground vehicular fire-extinguishing system is reviewed. The structural composition and working principle of the traditional manual fire-extinguishing system is summarized. Furthermore, two advanced types of automatic underground vehicular fire-extinguishing systems are introduced, including their applicability, reliability, and extinguishing ability, etc. In addition, the front technology of several critical elements and materials of the fire-extinguishing system are summarized, such as the fusing type fire source detector, temperature sensing cable, double-wave flame detector for infrared and ultraviolet, and fire-extinguishing agent. Finally, the prospects of the possible developments in the future are pointed out. The research should focus on the improvement of the response accuracy, promptness, reliability, and maintainability-free of fire source detector of automatic underground vehicular fire-extinguishing system.
