Study on Regional Division of Air Leakage of Working Face Based on Cubic Interpolation and Tracer Technology

    • To study gas distribution law and goaf emission characteristics of super-thick coal seam caving face, gas distribution characteristics under different production conditions are testedby unit method, which divided the stope into 40 test units, three-dimensional gas concentration distribution model is established with cubic interpolation method provided by MATLAB. The paper revealed the distribution law of gas in working face, analyzed the source of gas emission, proposed the tracer technology method of SF6 and measured gas concentration between frames to divide airflow into three areas. The test results showed that the airflow leakage area of the working face is 1# to 40# frames (70 m), the transition area is 40# (96 m) to 80# frames (140 m), the gas leakage area is 80# (140 m) to 120# frames (210 m). The key areas for gas control are delineated, which provides data support for determining the optimum extraction range of drainage measures.
