    Structural Parameters and Optimization of Concrete-filled Steel Tubular Support in Soft Rock Roadway

    • To investigate the influence of structural parameters of concrete-filled steel tubular support on the bearing capacity of the support, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are carried out to study the influence parameters and influence laws of the bearing capacity of concrete-filled steel tubular supports to optimize the optimal concrete filled steel tubular support structure for a mine. The results show that the bearing capacity of the concrete-filled steel tubular support is related to the hoop coefficient, the strength of the steel itself used for the steel tubular, the strength of the concrete material itself, and the outer diameter and thickness of the steel tubular. The optimal parameters for the concrete-filled steel tubular support for a mine roadway in Shandong are: outer diameter of steel tubular of 150 mm, concrete strength of 50 MPa, steel tubular wall thickness of 5 mm, steel yield strength of 335 MPa.
