Abstract
To study the height of caving zone and fractured zone (two zones) after upper slicing mining under the condition that the roof is thick loose and thin bedrock, borehole imaging technology is used to measure the deformation and failure characteristics of thin bedrock after mining. By comparing the borehole imaging at different depths and the roof burial depth of the coal seam, the height of caving zone and water conducting fracture zone after mining is obtained. On this basis, the engineering geological model of the working face is established, and the stratified mining on the working face is simulated by FLAC3D numerical simulation software. The height development characteristics of the “two zones” are obtained and compared with the measured results.
