Abstract
To study the adsorption and desorption of different adsorbents in two kinds of anthracite samples with different metamorphic degrees, the experiments of adsorption and desorption of carbon dioxide and methane gas using two kinds of anthracite coal samples with different preparation degrees in Baijigou Coal Mine and Yangmei Mine were conducted. Using constant volume and constant pressure test methods, the adsorption capacities of carbon dioxide and methane on two kinds of coal samples under different pressure points and the characteristics of adsorption and desorption at successive step pressure points were tested. The experimental results are fitted to the Langmuir model and the “Q-t1/2” model proposed by this group separately. The experimental results show that the adsorption of carbon dioxide by two kinds of coal samples is always greater than the adsorption of methane for constant pressure adsorption, and the adsorption laws of carbon dioxide and methane for two kinds of coal samples are well matched with the Langmuir model, and the analytical laws are also well matched with the“Q-t1/2”model; the adsorption rate of carbon dioxide is greater than that of methane.
