    Study on Propagation Law of Blast Wave in Vertical Shafts with Different Sections

    • In order to find out the propagation laws of explosive shock wave in shaft, the explosion process of 4.8 kg emulsion explosive in shaft was simulated by ANSYS/LS-DYNA software. The axial and radial propagation laws of shock wave in three shafts with the same aspect ratio and different section sizes were analyzed. The results show that the attenuation rates of the shafts with different sections are different when the detonation centers of the shaft in axial direction is greater than 6 m, and the average attenuation rate of each shaft per 2 m is 25.02%, 26.29% and 32.32%. In the radial direction of the shaft, the velocity of the shock wave from spherical wave to plane wave increases with the increase of the section.
