    Gas Control Technology in Goaf Areas Based on Partial W-type Ventilation System and High Gas Drainage Roadway

    • In order to allow full play to the advantages of high gas drainage roadway and partial W-type ventilation system, determine the best location of the high gas drainage roadway on the strike, the corresponding numerical model is established by Geometry and Mesh, and then the gas migration law of the mine goaf is analyzed by Fluent. The analysis results show that: the drainage effect is the best when the high gas drainage roadway is arranged in the fractured zone with a vertical distance of 35 meters (10 times of mining height) from the top plate of the mining face and a horizontal distance of 30 meters to air return lane, and it can effectively solve the problem of gas overrun in the mining face and ensure the safe mining.
