Abstract
In order to study the laws of surrounding rock movement and gas emission in mining face with large mining height, the hydraulic support resistance, advanced support pressure and gas emission of 18205 working face in Xingou Coal Mine were measured on site, and the support resistance of support, advanced abutment pressure changes were analyzed, and the relation between mining activity and gas emission is determined according to the measured gas emission amount in the working face. The results show that the gas emission increases obviously when the strata pressure of 18205 working face increases, and when the pressure comes to a certain extent, the pressure and displacement of the coal and rock mass increase and the gas emission from the working face increases obviously. The crushed rock channel was squeezed and impacted during the period of pressure cycle. High concentration of gas flow flushed into the work space, resulting in a significant increase in gas drainage. The gas drainage was basically consistent with the pressure step, and the high level borehole can effectively block the gob and adjacent layers of gas to effectively protect the face safe mining.
