    Application of Zone Reinforcement and Support Technology in High Risk Slope Engineering

    • To solve the difficult problems of great displacement, continuous deformation and frequent landslide accidents in the slope of an open-pit mine, the failure zones have been divided into three types of landslide zones, sliding type landslide damage area, dumping type landslide damage area, rock fragmentation rolling type landslide damage area, through analyzing the deformation and failure forms and characteristics of slope, in addition, the technology of reinforcing and supporting by dividing zone is proposed. The field monitoring results show that the deformation of the top, middle and bottom of slope tends to be stable after 20 days to 30 days of the reinforcement scheme. Moreover, the overall maximum horizontal displacement of the slope after reinforcement is only 38 mm, which basically meets the engineering requirements and effectively solves the problem of slope slide instability.
