    Study on Atomization Characteristics of Wide-angle Internal Mixing Air Atomizing Nozzle

    • In order to analyze the atomization characteristics of droplet field of wide angle mixing air atomizing nozzle, the Malvin high-speed spray particle size analysis system was applied to compare the atomization characteristics parameters of the droplet field. The experimental results show that the variation of water supply pressure and air supply pressure played a dominant role in atomizing angle and range of nozzle respectively in terms of macroscopic atomization characteristics; the droplet size increases as the distance increase in the axis direction, and the droplet size increases with the increase of distance from the nozzle axis in the radial direction in terms of microscopic atomization characteristics. Experiments and field tests show that when the gas-liquid ratio is about 1.5, the air pressure is 0.6 MPa, and the water pressure is 0.4 MPa, the particle size of fog drops in the nozzle fog field is more suitable for dust capture. The dust removal rate of total dust and exhaled dust increased by 21.66% and 20.05% respectively compared with the original spray pressure after field application of the transfer point.
