Simulation Analysis of Surface Subsidence of Inclined Coal Seam Mining

    • In order to study the surface subsidence and damage effect of overlying strata in inclined coal seam mining, taking the geological conditions of Anyang Coal Mine as the prototype, the numerical simulation software is used to carry out the simulation of thick coal seam mining in different angles. The results show that there is a stress rising area in front of the end of the working face, the stress arch gradually extends to the surface and the arch structure gradually moves over the rock strata as the angle gets larger, and the vertical stress concentration coefficient decreases with the increase of the dip angle; for the coal seams with the dip angle less than 30°, the overlying strata collapsed and accumulated in place; when the dip angle of coal seam is more than 40°, overburden collapses and moves down the mountain to make surface subsidence value of goaf uphill direction increase and the direction of downhill mountain of the surface increase relatively. Due to the failure of underground rock strata, the surface of the earth is generally in a U-shaped collapse pit.
