Abstract
In view of the problem that the air flow leaks into the goaf when the coal face cools down, and then the heat of the goaf is brought into the coal face to affect the cooling effect of the coal face, we proposed a technique of using air curtain to block air flow into the goaf, and the air leakage and heat quantity in the goaf. A set of air curtain is set between two columns under the hydraulic support of the working face to prevent air flow from entering the goaf. In this paper, 1302 coal face of Tangkou Coal Mine was selected as the simulation model, and the distribution characteristics and variation laws of temperature field in the three-dimensional space of the working face before and after blocking wind flow were simulated by using the software of ANSYS FLUENT. The results show that the air temperature drop in the air leakage influence area after the use of air curtain is relatively obvious, and the temperature is reduced nearly 2 ℃, at this point, the temperature in most area of the working face is less than or equal to 26 ℃.
