    Surrounding Rock Failure Mechanism and Control Technology of Gob-side Entry with Large Mining Height Working Face

    • In order to solve the problem of surrounding rock control of gob-side entry in Yangchangwan Coal Mine with large mining height working face, based on the field investigation, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field test, the failure mechanism of surrounding rock is analyzed. The idea, based on supporting the integrity of the coal pillar, improving the coordination of the supporting system and the asymmetric support structure, was proposed, which successfully guided the engineering practice.
