    Design and Application of Step-type Advanced Hydraulic Support with Large Mining Height

    • With the increasing automation level of large mining height of coal mine, the existing advanced support has many disadvantages, for instance, can not meet the requirements of two roadways support at the same time, the worse roof destruction, and difficulty in moving due to the complicated equipment, etc. All those disadvantages make it difficult to meet the development of large mining height mining. Through analyzing the relationship between the surrounding rocks along the empty roadway, the supporting strength and supporting length of advanced hydraulic support is obtained. The main parameters and framework of advanced hydraulic support are designed. This paper also analyzes the matching arrangement of two advanced hydraulic supports and coal mining equipment. The stability of the support is verified by mineral pressure testing.
