    Damage Mechanism and Control of Mining Roadway in High Stress and Weak Surrounding Rock

    • Concerning the problem of large deformation of 11271 transportation roadway in Zhaogu No.1 mine, the characteristics of deformation and failure mechanism are analyzed by means of field investigation, ground-stress testing, borehole imaging and theoretical analysis. It is considered that high stress, weak surrounding rock, strong mining influence and unreasonable support parameters are the main reasons for large deformation of 11271 transportation roadway. Guided by high pre-stress and pre-stress diffusion, coordination support of bolts and cables, and strong support in two-side, the original support program is optimized. Field observation shows that the two-side displacement and bottom heave is 222 mm and 110 mm in the new support program, respectively decreased by 72.3% and 78.0% comparing with the original one, which can effectively control the surrounding rock deformation and meet safe production requirement.
