Ventilation Parameters Optimization of Fully Mechanized Excavation Face Based on ANSYS

    • In order to solve the problem of high dust concentration and poor working environment of the workers in the fully mechanized excavation face, taking fully mechanized excavation face of a mine as a reference, the physical model is introduced into the ANSYS and optimized in dust removal by the use of long pressure and short pumping ventilation. By comparing dust distribution of forced ventilation with different heights, we find the appropriate height from forced air-duct to floor. On this basis, we optimized long pressure and short pumping ventilation. Through comparison and analysis, when the distance of forced air-duct to floor is 2/3L, the height of pumping air-duct to floor is 0.7L, the distance of forced air duct to fully mechanized excavation face is 3.5S1/2 to 4.5S1/2, and the distance of pumping air duct to fully mechanized excavation face is less than S1/2, the effect of dust removing is better.
