    Application of Fire Prevention Technology for Mining Face in Easy Self-ignition Coal Seam

    • For the situation that 12205 working face of Selian 2nd coalmine was faced with temporary stop production and recovery, the pressure of coal spontaneous combustion in the goaf was analyzed and the plan of fire prevention was made in the special time. According to the nature of the coal spontaneous combustion characteristics and the special residual coal in goaf, technical measures which are based on the principle of fire prevention to reduce the air leakage and oxygen concentration for temporary stop production were taken, and after the recovery of mining, the occurrence of coal spontaneous combustion was prevented by accelerating the speed of mining, expediting the change of the three zones and using the method of multi-point continuous injection of N2 to reduce the oxygen concentration. The result shows that the fire prevention technical measures played an important role in temporary stop mining and recovery. 12205 working face resumed production later.
