    Control Effect of Small Faults on Coal and Gas Outburst in Xuehu Mine

    • In order to find out the influence of small faults on gas occurrence and distribution of coal and gas outburst in Xuehu Mine, based on the control effect of geological structure on coal and gas outburst distribution and gas occurrence law, we analyzed geological tectonic characteristics, especially the distribution and characteristics of small faults in Xuehu Mine, and researched the occurrence of gas and the development of tectonic coal near small faults with different directions. The results show that after the multi-stage tectonic movement in Xuehu Mine, small faults basically present compresso-shear, and the coal body near small faults have the characteristics of gas accumulation, tectonic coal development and strong gas diffusion capacity and have a strong outburst hazard.
