Summary of Mine Disaster Rescue Life Information Detection Technology and Equipment

The accidents features and past eight years rescue characteristics about mine disasters in China were investigated. From standpoints of the surface drilling detection and the roadway detection, the current situation of mine life information detection technologies were discussed. Applications and suitability of different life information detection technologies and equipment, such as personnel positioning, video and audio communications, thermal infrared imaging, acoustic vibration, radar detection and robot, were analyzed. Finally, several existent problems about life information detection practice were proposed.
