Research Progress on Coal Wettability

The research on coal wettability involves two-phase properties of solid and liquid, and their interactions. In this paper, the microcosmic mechanism of coal and coal dust wetting, the various factors affecting the wettability, the characterization methods for coal wettability and wetting effect of surfactant were reviewed and analyzed, which can provide important basic data for coal seam water injection and coal mine dust prevention.
