Experimental Study on Destruction Characteristics of Floor Strata Under Mining

For the problem of floor rock destruction under upper coal seam mining, the failure characteristics of floor under different advancing distance are studied by numerical simulation and similarity simulation, and the relationship between floor failure characteristics and advancing distance of coal face is determined. The results can be used as guidance for the options about arrangement, supporting and the plan of roof management of roadway in the mining of close coal seams.
