Research Overview of Dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one Fire Suppression Agent Used in Gas Explosion Suppression

This paper introduces the physical properties, toxicity and environmental protection property of dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one fire extinguishing agent; the fire extinguishing mechanism and thermal decomposition process of dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one fire extinguishing agent were analyzed; the possibility of dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one as a coal mine gas explosion suppressant was presented; its advantages and disadvantages as coal mine gas anti-explosion agent were pointed out; meanwhile, we discusses the feasibility of dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one fire extinguishing agent as coal mine gas explosion suppressant.
