Application of Instantaneous Measurement of Radon in the Detection of Hidden Fire Sources in Small Coal Pits

    • Instantaneous measurement of radon was preferred in view of exploitation characteristics of small coal pits around the big coal mines in Shendong Mining Area and comprehensive analysis of advantages and disadvantages of various fire detection methods. The hidden fire sources of small coal pits in the south of Shigetai Coal Mine was detected. The radon value was divided using the mid-value clustering. The abnomal value of radon was determined. The abnomal area of temperature was divided by combination of radon concentration surface and contour map. In order to ensure the safe production of coal mine, the governance proposals by using the ground drilling grouting or excavation isolation fire area are given finally.
