Application of Directional Drilling Technology in Dredging and Draining Water of Roof Soft Rock

For the problems that roof water dripping phenomenon during coal mine roadway excavation is obvious in Selian No.2 Coal Mine and seriously affect the tunneling efficiency, we use underground directional drilling technology to carry out advanced dredging and draining water for 3-1 coal seam roof rock stratum with rich water. Through optimizing directional drilling technology and method, we improve the hole forming rate and success ratio in soft rock. Its drainage effect is obvious, which improves the roadway construction environment and tunneling efficiency.
