Experiment Research on Remaining Coal Spontaneous Combustion in Wangwa No.2 Mine Higher Slice

In order to grasp the coal spontaneous combustion laws of remaining coal in Wangwa No.2 Mine 5^# coal higher slice, by using programmed temperature rising test, we make a comparative study about coal spontaneous combustion characteristics of remaining coal in 5# coal higher slice and original coal sample. The results show that oxygen consumption rate, CO production rate, CO₂ production rate and limit heat releasing strength of remaining coal in 5^# coal higher slice would be higher than that of original coal sample and the tendency would be more obvious after 120 ℃, but the characteristic temperature and the required temperature of generating C₂H₄ and C₂H₆ gas about remaining coal in higher slice is lower than that of the original coal sample. It illustrates that the remaining coal in 5^# coal higher slice is prone to occur spontaneous combustion with higher risk.
