Abstract

For the construction requirements of protecting coal roadway tunneling by discharging mine gas in bed plate tunnel, we design a new track-mounted drill for full section bed plate tunnel. We introduce the key technologies in the development of drilling rig, including the selection of key components, the design of articulated feeding device and open-clamp gripper, etc. Industrial field tests for drilling rig were carried out in Mengjin and Pingshu Coal Mine respectively. The results show that the drilling rig has the significant technical advantages of high reliability and efficiency with full section drilling in bed plate tunnel.
