    Failure Analysis of Anchor Cable Tray of Mining Roadway in Island Working Face

    • Aiming at the failure of anchor cable tray in the mining roadway of island zone, experimental machine is used to carry out the simulation of concentric and eccentric load to evaluate tray strength and analyze failure and deformation causes of tray. The results show that when the tray and lockset is concentric compression, the tray strength is 350.3 kN; when the tray and lockset is eccentric compression, the tray strength is 283 kN; all of trays meet the design requirements. Under the influence of island mining and fault fracture zone, the stress at tray failure location increases and the stress concentration factor is 3.33, which is more likely to fall off under the eccentric state. According to the above research results, the paper proposes reasonable measures to prevent tray failure, which provides protection for the safety of the roadway.
