Analysis of Maximum Offset Based on Three-dimensional Collapse Column Model

Based on the seismogeology model of typical collapse column and different kinds of observing system of maximum offset, we compare the influence of offset on seismic imaging through the theoretical analysis and seismic illumination analysis in this paper, and adopt ray tracing algorithm to carry out forward modelling, analyze the effect of observing system with different maximum offsets on collapse column detection accuracy. The study shows that the smaller of the maximum offset, the higher of the interpretation accuracy.
